IT companies always need people who have specialized skills and knowledge in administering applications and devices in a security infrastructure. Those companies also need professionals who have the ability to identify security threats and distinguish network vulnerabilities. If you are an IT professional who wants to specialize in managing security systems or an experienced networking professional who wants to enhance your career with new security skills and knowledge, then the CCNA Security Certification might be the right path for your career. If you want to land a high-demand job, learning network security skills would be a good idea.
With the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security Certification, you will be ready for various specialized positions including Security Support Engineer, Network Security Specialist, and Security Administrator. Individuals who undergo the CCNA Security training learn about the different security problems and solutions. The CCNA Security curriculum also focuses on the installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of different network devices in order to maintain availability, confidentiality, and integrity of both data and devices, as well as the competency of the Cisco technologies.
The CCNA Security Certification could also lead to a higher-level certification. It is the prerequisite for the Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) Certification. The CCSP Certification focuses on network identity management, authorization, authentication, anti-malware programs, firewalls, and security policy management. The CCSP Certification will also prepare you for achieving the highest Cisco security certification – the CCIE Security Certification. Unlike the CCSP, the CCIE does not have any prerequisites.
